Our Story
Our journey began with a simple jar of folded puris and a family’s refusal to waste good food. What started as a homemade snack, seasoned with our mother’s blend of spices, soon became our Mathri after a customer at our father’s kirana store discovered and loved it.
Our first major order taught us an important lesson when nearly 30% of the Mathri broke in transit. We researched, experimented and developed better packaging to protect freshness and reduce breakage.
Over time, curiosity led us to create innovative snacks using millet, makhana and familiar ingredients, while introducing thoughtful processes such as excess-oil draining and oxygen absorbers for long-distance travel.
From a small workshop in Mumbai to customers across the world, our journey has been built one experiment, one improvement and one customer at a time.
Our simple benchmark remains: if we wouldn’t serve it to our family, we wouldn’t serve it to yours.
